“Roy are you ready to go?” JoAnne called from the living room “Johnny wanted us to get there a little early.”

“Yeah Jo I’ll be right down. I don’t know why Johnny wanted us to be all dressed up, I hate wearing a Tux.”

“Man I remember when Jenny wouldn’t leave your side and she was always carrying around that stuffed Tigger and Pooh. Well come on in, Everybody else should be here soon" Johnny says leading the way into the family room off the kitchen

" I just need to check on the food and Roy would you mind starting a fire?"

"No problem"

"Johnny do you need any help in the kitchen?"

"No thanks Jo, I just need to reheat the lasagna" Johnny says as a knock is heard " But you can get the door for me if you don't mind"

"I am on it"

"Marco, Hello It's so good to see you."

"JoAnne hello, How are you?"

"I am doing well, Please come in Johnny and Roy are in the family room"

"Thanks. Oh let me introduce you JoAnne DeSoto this is Dee_Ayy "

"Hello, please call me Dee. It is a great to finally meet everyone Marco is always talking about"

"How boring for you if that is all He talks about" jokes Roy as they all walk in "I am Roy, JoAnne's husband and the guy in the kitchen is our host Johnny."

"Opps there's the door again, I'll be right back"

"Jo let me get it you stay and get to know Dee"

"Thanks Marco"

"Hi Chet come on in"

"Thanks, Marco I would like you to meet Susan Proto . Oh and don't close the door Mike pulled in right behind us"

"Hello Susan" Marco said shaking her hand "you guys go on into the family room. Mike, Hi how have you been? You need any help there?"

"Hey Marco, No were fine thanks"

"Let's go join the rest" He says leading the way in. "Hey everybody Mike's here"

"Hi all, I would like you all to meet someone very special" Mike says pulling a beautiful lady close "This is my fiancée Michelle Gussow"

As everyone was congratulating Mike and Michelle and cough was heard

`Mind if we come in? We knocked but no one answered"

"Hank, Athea please come in, Mike was just sharing some good news"

"We know all about it, Some of us still stay in touch" Hank comments looking at Johnny.

"I know, I know. That's why I invited you all over tonight. Now dinners ready so lets eat."

"Johnny, I thought you invited Dixie and the Doc's"

"I did. Joe and Mike are working, so they can't make it and Kel and Dix already had dinner plans but will be here later.

Later as they all sat around the fire Chet started telling Johnny Stories

"Come on Chet I wasn't that bad'

"Yes you were, Hey Marco what was it we used to call those Two Chickies Johnny used to go out with?"

"Which two? There were so many it was hard to keep track"

"Oh ha ha, you guy are a laugh a minute"

"Lets see there was Hez, and Peggy we called them the Gage Girl's because they were always popping into the station at the oddest times.

"Then there was Kenda's and Bren's always cooking for him when it was his turn. Of course we benefited from that."

Johnny was saved from replying to that by a knock and voice calling "Hey is this the 51 Aftershift party?

"No this is The Burning Hat Club but come on in anyway" Johnny laughs as Hank groans "Look everybody Rampart Base has arrived. Hi Dix, Kel come on in"

Everyone was laughing and greeting the new comers

"So what are you all talking about?" Dix asks as she sits next to Jo

"Just telling old stories about Johnny"

"LOL more entertaining than (Emergency!) Live Theater."

"Oh Dix you are just such a Nifty Lady " Johnny replies

"Johnny you dated so many of my nurses that I sometimes felt like I was working in a soap opera, As a matter of fact I even had the perfect name for it As The Siren Turns

" Oh I don't know Dix, with as much as he struck out you could have called it Flames Of The Heart" Chet says

"Roy will you throw me a Emergency Lifeline here? "

Before Roy could help out Jo said `Well instead of Johnny's' love life we could call it Love Emergency! Style-Kel Brackett & Dixie McCall "

"OK lets change the subject before we need to break out Station 51's Trauma Box" Hank said "Do you guy's remember that Code Red we had where the guy calling it in thought the fireplace was going to burn down the building?"

"I remember that" Laughed Mike "It was at Gila's Cave. and the fire turned out to be an electric fireplace."

"That's right then he demanded that we take him to that Emergency Place because he was going to die from the fumes"

"Hey Doc remember that Administrator that wanted you to start The Emergency! Reading Room so people waiting would have a better selection of reading materials"

"Yeah Johnny I remember. Did you know his wife opened a book store in the hospital called Krys's E! Nook."

"So he still got a better reading selection, But this way he is earning money too."

"Well at least it wasn't all an Emergency! Heart Attack it was more like Squad 51 Where Are You? sometimes"

"Do you guys remember when Chet Hid Johnny's Green Pen and he almost couldn't find it. I though you were going to go to the Phantom's Lair and strike him down"

"You know, you guys should write these stories into a book. You could call it Emergency! Perilous Parodies or Return To Emergency "

"How about Flights of Fancy or Overnout 51's Logbook or even KMG365"

“I don’t know, I kind of like The Emergency! Universe
"Well if Johnny writes it you can call it Juniors Journal"

"Well all I am sure of is that we are all Kindred Spirits and that's Straight From The Heart
